“Just do it”. A cliche that simply slips past the mind of the reader. It’s mostly used by those who attribute no value to action and do not consider consequence or retribution. This is wrong in my eyes. Although this may seem like a simple and seemingly insignificant term, it means the world to me. For one to overcome adversarial demons, they must abide by these three words. These three simple words are what separate those with true ambition and desire from those who only strive to barely get by each and every day.
“I’ve been lying in this bed for close to a year, and I’ve had a lot of time to look back on my life. And the things that I remember best – those are the things I wasn’t supposed to do and I did them anyway. The thing is: life is too damn short to be following these rules.”
